MY LIFE JOURNEY

CV Located Below this Section

MY START IN GAMING AND CREATION.

My interest in Games and stories started early, like most. Watching my dad play Zelda and Mario or beating him at Duck Hunt or Mario Tennis took up the majority of my time as a child. it was in late elementary that I discovered writing. From then on, I wrote fiction and fanfiction in various notebooks throughout the years.

THE DISCOVERY OF MY PASSION.

By high school, I got into a rhythm of finishing up my school work and then either writing or reading. Which helped keep me busy since, just before high school, my father passed away. I safely and healthily wrote out my woes into the fiction I created, but I also gave myself happy stories as well. It wasn't till senior year that I figured out that I could put my two favorite things together and make a living from it. I risked my grade in my web design class to make my first game (found on the home page), and I received an A and got my first taste of having players play my game.

HOW I GOT TO WHERE I AM NOW.

After High school, I Researched and got into my local community college. The degree itself is studio art, but I had many different classes, each of which I made sure to learn as much as possible. For game ideas to how things worked and everything in between.

After my AA, I attempted to get into a school up north, and it ultimately didn't work. In the aftermath, however, I discovered Fullsail University and got enrolled. and although I had a lot of obstacles in life with family and home issues, I ended up graduating in October 2021.

THE HERE AND NOW

Since then, I have been working on My projects, both in writing and games, while I apply for various jobs in the field. I've only had about four times I got past the initial application phase, but after revamping this portfolio and my resume, I think that number will rise exponentially.

WHERE DO I PLAN TO GO FROM HERE.

I plan to continue my projects and work on myself as I continue to fight my way into the industry. I am now in a better place emotionally, and I plan to use that to my advantage going forward.
